Adventure Elopement on the North Coast

Sophie & Michael

Sophie and Michael chose to go against the grain and elope on the North Coast of Ireland. As with a lot of our couples these two are from the states, so we were excited about getting to show them some of our favourite spots along the Causeway Coast. We had chatted about what they wanted for their day and locations over skype in the months leading up to the big day and narrowed it down to a couple of epic spots, we also found we had a mutual love for animals with all of us having multiple pets!

One of the things that we love about elopements is that we really have the freedom to help couples plan an epic adventure, we can take on board their requests and go all out on creating a magical experience without the restrictions of timelines, formalities and hundreds of guests.

Sophie and Michael chose to get ready together in LimePark Cottages, it was really sweet seeing them getting ready so close together and excitedly sharing the anticipation of what the day would hold. Michael left before Sophie got into her dress as we had planned for a first look in one of our favourite castle ruin locations - Dunseverick Castle.

With a first look made of dreams, vows on the cliff edge at Dunluce Castle, whiskey and lamb feeding at the farmers house and windswept kisses at the Giants Causeway this elopement was everything and more. Sophie and Michael put so much trust into us and allowed us to capture the most intimate and important moment of their lives. it was emotional, rainy, windy and we wouldn’t have it any other way!
