Fun & Relaxed wedding at Lissanoure Castle - Olivia & Jonny
Olivia and Jonny got married at the beautiful Lissanoure Castle in Northern Ireland, in Autumn last year. It was a super chilled, personal and love filled wedding, with friends playing music, floral confetti and an epic homemade wedding cake.

The excitement before the wedding
Olivia got ready in Limepark cottages with her bride tribe and family, there was such a happy relaxed vibe and it was so lovely that all her nearest and dearest were there with her. From the moment I arrived, Precious, her beloved Yorkshire terrier was sitting in her lap, being the best girl and letting the buzz of the morning unfold around her. It all got quite emotional when Olivia got into her dress as her bridesmaids were helping put the finishing touches to her look, she really looked incredible in her elegantly flowing Halfpenny London Dress.
Getting hitched
The ceremony took place in a beautiful little church at the entrance to Lissanoure Castle grounds. The ceremony area was lit by candles and had touches of autumnal foliage, which was perfect for the surroundings and season. The ceremony began with several beautiful readings from friends and family, and finished with them walking down the aisle and being showered with colourful confetti. of course little Precious was there for every moment making sure mum and dad said I do under her watchful eye. It was a really moving ceremony, full of beautiful songs, private smiles and so much love. Olivia's family are all very talented singers, so when they all joined in for different parts of the ceremony in perfect harmonies, our hearts totally skipped a little beat and Christin might have had a little tear in her eye!
The Reception
After the ceremony, we left the couple to mingle with their guests, which was the perfect time for us to get candid photos and chase that elusive double hug. After lots of hugs and congratulations in the afternoon sun everyone headed up to the Castle to enjoy drinks and live acoustic music from the couples friends, which was a really lovely personal touch and great idea by the couple. We love when couples step outside the norms of traditional timelines and elements on their wedding day, Olivia and Jonny did just that by surprising their guests to a mid afternoon first dance while one of their close friends played his own song on the guitar. It was such a lovely moment to witness and capture, slowly one by one guests joined them for a dance and the whole room had a serious romantic feel, it was one of our favourite moments of the day.
Squad Goals
with the autumn weather on our side we decided to take a quick trip around the grounds and down to the lake edge so that Olivia and Jonny could have some time together and we could take some couple portraits, these two are total naturals ( even if they tell you they're not!) it's plain to see how much they love each other, those little looks and the way they look at each other was perfection!
Lets get this party started!
speeches were dotted in between courses and we even got treated to some incredibly emotional, impromptu speeches from olivas bridesmaid and guests. There were a lot of personal touches in the wedding with friends and family pitching in to help with decor and organising but the icing on the cake ( sorry not sorry for the pun!) was the amazing cake that Oliva's Mum made, which had a super secret surprise malteser cake inside it!
The evening ended with some serious shapes being thrown on the dance floor and guests really enjoying letting their hair down, I loved bouncing around the dance floor in between guests cheering and spinning each other around.
Lissanoure Castle is a really beautiful venue and totally suited Olivia and Jonny's style and vibe, we loved every moment of this wedding but the fact that Precious stayed on Olivia's lap all day and was so well catered for and included in the celebrations was a total winner for us as we’re sure all you dog lovers will agree!!
