Year in Review
Here we are again, another year completed and what a year it was! 2018 has been so jam packed full of love stories, adventures and seriously good craic. We’re kind of pinching ourselves that this year happened…. it totally snowballed into the most epic year yet!
We started the year at Asylum Chapel, London and ended with a winter wonderland wedding at the Galgorm Resort & Spa, we traveled to the very North of Ireland and to the very South, all on this crazy adventure that is photography!
Some of the stand out moments from 2018 :
We got married!
We got to learn from one of the best Photographers in Ireland Mr Rob Dight and we found the most amazing group of friends through his Heart & Soul Workshop
We attended BURN workshop and got to hear some of our ultimate heros talk
We took part in the Learning to Fly Irish Wedding photography awards and workshop AND managed to win an award!
We traveled all the way to Dingle to take part in Feckin Workshop to be photographed by THE MOST amazing photographers from around the world, made friends for life and absorbed all the amazing inspiration and information
We got quite a few features from our favourite blogs : LookslikeFilm, Beloved Stories, MuchLoveig, Tribe Archipelago, Shoot & share, Rock n Roll Bride, Wandering Weddings, One Fab Day, You Rock Photographers
But none of this could even have been possible if it weren’t for the INCREDIBLE couples that invited us into their lives, trusted us to capture their most special days, gave us the freedom to get our weird on, experiment and do our thing. They opened up their hearts, minds and souls. They let go of inhibitions, showed us their true selves and in return let us be ourselves.
2018 has connected us to the most amazing bunch of humans, we’ve laughed and cried with them, held bags, shoes and bouquets, watched in awe as families connected, played games with the youngest and the oldest guests, did up a million button holes and boogied our little hearts out on the dance floor. We snuggled some puppers and ate like kings, danced around fire pits and climbed mountains and rocks barefoot. We can honestly say 2018 has been the best year ever…. we cannot wait to hang out with all our 2019 couples and see what it has in store!
If 2018 has taught us anything its that taking risks, setting goals and believing in yourself totally pays off, we are very excited for the things we have planned for 2019 and we cant wait to share them with our couples!
